BoboVita is a brand owned by Danone, where you can find baby food, including: porridges, ready-made lunches, soups, desserts, mousses or snacks. Danone supports farmers in introducing regenerative agriculture, that is, farming that positively affects the condition of the soil and allows for more sustainable management of its resources. In 2021, the company introduced a new special audit of regenerative agriculture, with which it will cover all farms by the end of 2023. BoboVita brand products have a simple and good composition without food additives such as preservatives, dyes, emulsifiers or stabilizers. The products are mainly sold in glass jars (desserts, ready meals, soups), plastic or paper packaging (porridges and mousses). Other brands owned by Danone include: Activia, Danio, Danonki, Alpro, Actimel, Fantasia, Ale Pitny, Bebiko, Bebilon, Żywiec Zdrój. In 2020. Danone joined the Polish Plastic Pact. As part of it, the company pledged to reduce plastics in marketed packaging by 30% by 2025, to make 100% of packaging reusable or recyclable, and to increase the share of recyclable materials in plastic packaging to 25%. Danone products are exported to more than 120 countries. 100% of the electricity in plants and warehouses comes from renewable sources. Danone has pledged to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. It is implementing solutions at its production sites to effectively manage its environmental impact (e.g., by upgrading wastewater treatment plants or investing in photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, smart LED lighting, etc.). Danone's team in Poland consists of more than 3,000 employees who work in two offices in Warsaw and at seven production facilities. Danone buys 152 million liters of milk a year from 260 farmers in Poland. It has worked with most of the farms for more than 20 years. The company settles accounts with suppliers based on the real production costs of a given farm, rather than market prices, which have become unpredictable in recent years. The company is involved in various social and charitable initiatives. As part of its "On the Side of Nature" program, it has planted more than 8 million trees, renovated 1,350 kilometers of hiking trails and supported 133 local environmental initiatives. Twice a year, Danone organizes an internal grant competition where employees submit their social projects to receive funding for their implementation. In 2020, Danone donated about 350 tons of food to Food Banks.
