OSM Piątnica is a Polish dairy cooperative owned by 2 thousand farmers who run their farms in Podlasie, northern Mazovia and Kurpie regions. About 98% of milk used for production comes from Polish farmers associated in cooperative. Piątnica is a well-known manufacturer of dairy products. The assortment includes: milk, kefir, buttermilk, yogurt, cream, cottage cheese, butter, spreadable cheese, mascarpone cheese and many more. For some time Piątnica offers also plant milk (soy and oat milk) and launched a line of products with organic certificate. Among certified products you can find cottage cheese, natural yogurt, milk, and 18% cream. Most of the products have a simple composition, without powdered milk, preservatives or stabilizers. Piątnica has implemented ISO 14001 environmental management system. Piątnica offers farmers the highest milk purchase prices in Poland. The company has its own termal power plant and wastewater treatment plant, thanks to which uses less energy and water. Unfortunately, products are sold mainly in plastic packaging.
