Tobe is a "daughter" company of the Polish brand Bajo, founded in Krakow in 2013 out of the need to design toys that are less obvious in form. When designing toys, the brand looks for inspiration both in everyday life and draws from important topics such as ecology, tolerance and equality. In the assortment of this brand you will find wooden toys (made of beech, sycamore and black oak wood), as well as cuddly toys, dolls and teddy bears made of either cotton (unfortunately not organic, although some toys are made of Oeko-Tex certified cotton), polyester (skeleton Bobbie) or from hemp (The Hempions series or teethers for babies). No pesticides are used in the production of hemp, as the plant has insect and microbial repellent properties. Hemp cultivation produces more oxygen than some forests, absorbing large amounts of CO2 and using several times less water than cultivating cotton. In addition, hemp is an antibacterial, antifungal and hypoallergenic material, which is why it is so perfect for children's products. In the production process, the company increases the consumption of renewable energy sources: the roof of the factory is covered with solar panels. Bajo employs the elderly and people with disabilities. In addition, it educates children and young people from local villages and professional schools. It is also partner of therapeutic centers and juvenile detention centers.
