The Bolivian brand Ecowoods Bo manufactures wooden 3D puzzles in the shape of various animal species. The toys are made of wooden waste left over after making larger wooden products. Additionally, the wood comes from sustainably managed forests. To confirm it, the company has applied for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certificate. The toys are not treated with any harmful chemicals and are impregnated only with Brazil nut oil or bee wax. The company’s workers have long-term employment contracts, paid overtime and earn a living wage.
