ESPRIT is a German clothing brand that offers clothes for adults and children. The Esprit company has been operating on the market since the 60's. The brand's offer includes clothes made of such raw materials as: conventional cotton, polyester, polyamide, but the brand also has collections made of more sustainable raw materials, such as: organic cotton (75% of the total cotton), recycled cotton (all products marked with the "recycled" symbol are made of at least 20% recycled cotton), recycled polyester and polyamide (40% of synthetic materials), Ecovero viscose (which guarantees 50% less water and energy in the production process) or tencel (61% viscose materials). Esprit is certified by the Responsible-Wool Standard (RWS). 31% of wool comes from ecological sources. The denim collection is created using organic cotton. Deadstock jeans are made of pieces of fabric that are sewn together, so they are made entirely of recycled materials. ESPRIT also offers a line of vegan bags that are PETA certified. Clothes are packed in recycled packaging, and 62% of clothes are transported by sea. ESPRIT works with factories from 25 countries around the world and is a member of the multi-stakeholder Fair Labor Association initiative. Most of the suppliers are located in China and Bangladesh. ESPIRT has signed the ACCORD agreement regarding the fire safety of factory buildings in Bangladesh. ESPRIT makes sure that people from all walks of life work in the company, because the brand follows a policy of equality. Employees have the option of training, training courses, receive a global insurance plan, employee benefits, programs for new employees, etc. Espirit publicly discloses its list of 1st and 2nd tier suppliers.
