Cropp is a brand operating under the aegis of the Polish clothing company LPP. The offer includes clothes mainly for teenagers. The share of Eco Aware clothes (i.e. made of certified materials such as: organic cotton, tencel, EcoVero), compared to other LPP brands, is the smallest and amounts to 7%. The vast majority of Cropp's clothing range is made of synthetic materials such as polyester, polyamide and acrylic.
LPP is the largest company in Central and Eastern Europe, which can be found in 40 countries around the world. It employs about 25,000 people (making the entire supply chain difficult to control and easy to abuse). In 2021, the company sold about 233 million items of clothing, of which only 26% of all clothes were Eco Aware collections. LPP began to implement the so-called Eco Aware Production standard, which emphasizes the limitation of consumption of natural resources and the introduction of a closed water cycle in the production process. Unfortunately, so far only 30% of factories in South Asia are covered by this program. And as much as 91% of clothing is produced in Asia. LPP has made a commitment that by 2023 the cardboard packaging will be either recycled or FSC certified. LPP declares that by 2025 it will fully comply with ZDHC standards (striving to eliminate hazardous chemicals in the entire supply chain). At present, not all factories are covered by this agreement. LPP has signed the ACCORD agreement on the fire safety of factory buildings in Bangladesh. The LPP Foundation is involved in various types of activities and supports social initiatives. It is worth noting that LPP started cooperation with WoshWosh by joining the action of renovating used footwear and collecting and repairing clothing.
