Medicine is a chain brand offering everyday clothes. The clothes are characterized by floral and artistic patterns. Clothes made of more responsible raw materials account for 15% of the entire range. They are mainly made of tencel, viscose, organic cotton or recycled wool (40%). In the "Together for Nature" collection, in addition to the fact that the raw materials are more sustainable, the clothes tags are made of recycled paper. The clothes are packed in recycled bags. The clothes are mainly produced in India, Pakistan, China, Bangladesh and Europe. Unfortunately, the brand does not provide information on its website in which factories it sews and what exact work standards prevail in them. However, there is information about regular inspections of factories (without providing the results and conclusions of these inspections) and signing contracts with them, under which suppliers undertake to comply with the brand's Code of Conduct. The Medicine brand supports the artistic activity of Polish artists and creators. It organizes competitions for young artists, cooperates with the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, providing internship opportunities for students. In addition, the brand writes on its website that it supports charity activities in orphanages and animal shelters. Every year, it also organizes the "Stylowy Pupil" campaign, where part of the proceeds from sales are donated to animal shelters. On the Medicine website you can read that the brand also employs people with disabilities. The toilets and the office are adapted accordingly. In addition, there are separate places for nursing mothers. The warehouse uses a detector system that turns off the light. Unfortunately, Medicine also became famous for less glorious activities, such as placing t-shirt machines (vending machines with T-shirts) in shopping centers or an advertising campaign in which the new collection was presented as a cure for the pain of existence.
