Marc O’Polo is a well-known Swedish-German clothing brand that has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation initiative since 2020. About 80% of the clothes are produced in a more sustainable way. Marc O’Polo uses natural fibers from controlled organic cultivation in its collections, certified by GOTS or OCS (Organic Content Standard). The offer also includes products with the RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certificate, which means that the wool comes from certified sheep farms that care about animal welfare and farmland. The brand also uses cellulose fiber raw materials in the form of lyocell, modal and viscose. They use Thermore polyester insulation in their outerwear collections, which is made from at least 50% recycled PET bottles. Marc O’Polo produces in both the EU and non-EU countries, with suppliers headquartered in China, India and Turkey. The packaging in which the clothes are shipped is FSC-certified or packaged in recyclable film.
