Filippa K is a Swedish clothing brand that is a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (an initiative that supports male and female garment workers in the realization of their rights to secure fair and equal employment). The clothes are created from naturally dyed (aronia berry) Swedish wool. The raw material comes from Swedish sheep farms, where the wool is a waste product of the local meat industry. Other raw materials the brand uses include organic cotton, tencel, poliamid, polyester, leather and cashmere. The brand has set up a second-hand store where clients can buy and sell second-hand clothes from Filippa K. The brand has pledged that by 2030, 100% of the garments it receives through claims or collections and material from garment waste will be repurposed, resold or recycled. It also pledged to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
