Slowhop.com is an online booking platform that is a database of accommodations close to the idea of slow travel, at the same time closer to the concept of more responsible travel. The platform achieves a good impact on its environment mainly by promoting the concept of sustainable tourism, while taking into account elements of regenerative tourism. It also pays a lot of attention to the environmental education of its users: hosts (tourism entrepreneurs offering accommodation on the platform) and guests (tourists using the offers). Every year it creates new educational materials (to be found in the 2022 and 2023 annual report). 

Slowhop.com provides its environmental education materials free of charge and puts a lot of effort into transparently describing its activities (its own and those of its hosts). Among other things, the platform has created an eco-certification for accommodation owners (including those outside the platform), which diagnoses how much effort hosts put into caring for the natural, cultural and social environment, as well as environmental education (their own and their guests').

They promote slow travel, short-distance travel, within a country or over a distance that does not require the use of high-emission air transportation. Foreign offers account for 18.8% of all offers. Nearly all workers are employed in Poland, with the rest coming from European countries. 84% of employees move mainly by public transportation. Slowhop offers employees in-house training (e.g., editing and creative writing workshops). Employees also have the following benefits to choose from: an annual Multisport Plus card, a voucher for a trip to Slowhop platform facilities worth an annual Multisport card. In addition, they offer their employees workation trips. Slowhop has amassed an accommodation base of more than 1,500 places in total, providing them with content support and promoting their local activities - especially those that support the environment.
