Ecos is an American brand manufacturing eco-friendly cleaning products. The products are not certified with any eco-labels, yet they consists mostly of plant-based cleaning substances. They contain no phosphates, phosphonates, optical bleaches, halogen elements, silicones or GMO. However, some of the products contain petroleum-derived substances. The owner of the brand, the Earth Friendly Products company, reduces its carbon footprint by obtaining as much as half of the energy used from solar power. Their new factory in Florida has the LEED certificate awarded to energy-efficient buildings, and solar panels are installed on the roofs of the company’s manufacturing plants. The products are available in large-volume packaging. The offer includes a variety of surface cleaners, dishwashing and laundry products as well as cleaning products for pets.
