These certificates ensure that the trees the paper has been made from come from sustainably managed forests. TOP 2000 products are also labelled with the Paper by Nature certificate that confirms the production process has had limited negative impact on the environment. Moreover, the Hamelin Group, the owner of the brand, declares that no timber form valuable tropical forests is used. In addition, the paper used for the production of notebooks has not been bleached with environmentally harmful gaseous chlorine, which is confirmed by the Nordic Swan certificate.
