Scraveck Studio is an upcycling business set up by Monika Bekisz. All Scravek products are made from recycled fabrics, clothes or home textiles (e.g. used, destined to be thrown away, bed sheets, tablecloths, curtains, etc.), which are donated to the owner by donors or purchased from second-hand clothing companies - such as "Ubrania Do Oddania". Scraveck Studio is a one-person studio, where the owner personally sews unique patterns using the patchwork method so that every scrap is used. Scraps are used as fillings, such as for pillows. Products are packaged in recycled paper. Some products are sewn to order - also from specific clothes or fabrics provided by the ordering person. The products are available in an online store, in Poland. Owner Monika Bekisz actively informs and educates her customers about the production process, and encourages them to donate used textiles (instead of throwing them away) - as a raw material for her business. On her website and social media, she conducts educational activities about upcycling, and shows examples of how to do it on your own (upcycling ideas).
