Agata is one of the largest distributors of furniture and decorative articles in Poland. It has 32 large-format showrooms in the country. The stores provide access to articles from more than 250 different manufacturers from Poland and abroad. The brand's offer includes: furniture for the living room, bedroom, dining room and kitchen, decorative articles, carpets, lighting, kitchen accessories and a wide selection of chairs, tables and mattresses. Furniture and articles are created from a variety of raw materials: particleboard, fiberboard, wood, MDF, metal, glass and synthetic materials. Furniture and articles are made of various raw materials: chipboards, fibreboards, wood, MDF boards, metal, glass, plastics. The boards are finished with, among others, laminate or PVC foil. The production of wood-like boards reduces the demand for wood (boards come from compressed wood shavings, often waste from sawmill production), however, they may contain various volatile organic compounds and substances that may adversely affect human health, e.g. formaldehyde. The company does not state on its website what varnishes, paints or adhesives it uses. There is also no information about the company's team and working conditions in the manufacturers' factories.
