Agpol is a company that specializes in the manufacturing of upholstered furniture. In addition, its offer includes products made of solid wood and of wood-derived materials. Wooden elements are made primarily with the use of pine wood of Polish origin. More than half of the wooden elements are plywood and wood-derived boards made mainly from birch wood. Unfortunately, the production process for these boards is hardly environmentally friendly. It should be noted, though, that the processing of solid wood elements is done in an eco-friendly way: they are not painted or varnished, and adhesives used on the company’s premises do not contain harmful formaldehyde. Moreover, AGPOL is involved in social actions, such as aiding flood and fire victims. Attention: the positive raw material grading concerns the wooden elements only. Other materials, such as upholstery or stuffing, have not been evaluated and cannot be automatically seen as environmentally friendly.
