BODZIO furniture factory has been operating in the Polish market since 1985. Bodzio furniture is a family company based on Polish capital. The main founder of the company and its general director is Bogdan Szewczyk. The company's top management also includes his wife Iwona and five children: Aleksandra, Anna, Justyna, Monika and Grzegorz. There are about 300 furniture stores in Poland. Bodzio is engaged in the production and sale of a wide range of kitchen furniture, bedroom furniture, office furniture and upholstered furniture (with natural or eco-leather). Furniture is created from various raw materials: wood, wood-like products or metal. The production of wood-like boards reduces the need for wood (the boards come from compressed wood chips, which are often post-production waste from sawmills), but they may contain various volatile organic compounds and substances that can negatively affect human health, such as formaldehyde. The company does not state on its website what varnishes, paints or adhesives it uses. When describing a product, there is no more detailed information as to the raw materials used in the production process. There is also no information about the suppliers of raw materials and the working conditions in the factories.
