Uncle Goose is an American company engaged in the production of wooden blocks for children. Uncle Goose toys are handmade in the state of Michigan, meaning the entire production process takes place in the USA. The blocks are made from uncoated, natural wood, specifically, American linden trees that grow in the Great Lakes region. Linden trees have the property that they recover quickly. The blocks are dyed with heavy metal free inks and are not varnished. Scraps of wood are reused as firewood or bedding for horses. Most of the packaging is made of recycled paper.
