The German brand Logona specializes in producing natural plant-based cosmetics for children and adults. All the brand products are BDIH-certified which ensures 95% of their ingredients are natural. The products contain no no petroleum-derived mineral oils, synthetic dyes and aromatic substances, parabens, formaldehyde, silicones or GMO. Moreover, BIDH encourages manufacturers to use ingredients from organic farming and a large part of Logona’s cosmetics do contain them (as you can find out reading the label). Some of the products also have the NaTrue label – a new certificate which determines a minimum content of organic farming ingredients (a product can be awarded one, two or three stars – the more, the higher the content of organic raw materials). The packaging is made of plastic and the cardboard boxes are certified with FSC, a sustainable forest management certificate. The plant ingredients come mainly from crops grown by Logona or from German farmers who are friends with the company. Other ingredients are sourced from all corners of the world, partly from organic farming and wild plant harvesting. Logona’s offer includes face, body and hair care products, sunscreens, toothpastes and make-up products.
