Vuokkoset is a Finnish brand that produces sanitary pads and tampons. The products are made of organic cotton and are bleached without the use of chlorine. The wrappers of individual sanitary pads as well as cardboard boxes are biodegradable. All products from the 100% Bio line are compostable. Only the outer packaging of the pads is made of the ecological plastic Green PE, which is recyclable but not compostable. The products are Nordic Ecolabel certified and the brand is carbon neutral.
